USHER TAKES IT OFF FOR THE NFL!
Usually this is a good idea but …
Usher performed at the 2008 NFL Kickoff, opening the NFL season and trying to wow the mostly male crowd with his abs. Too bad there were dozens of men in their locker rooms with abs [and bodies] that would make Usher’s look like jelly rolls! But we give him an “B” for Boldness.
WE AIN’T FINISHED!
The R&B crooner says he’s keeping his fingers crossed that this gig will lead to playing the half time show at the Super Bowl in February. “I’m hoping that this leads, definitely, to that. This whole process is basically, ‘You scratch my back; I’ll scratch yours.” He’s also planning a 15 stop “intimate” Ladies-Only “One Night Stand” Tour promoting his latest album, “Here I Stand”.
“There’s only a few artists that can pull that off,” he said. “I feel like I’ve had such a connection with my audience. This album, I felt like, was definitely the type of one that was more intimate. So what better way to get up close and personal than to make it all women?”
Hmmm. Will he also do a seperate tour for his large gay fanbase? It would only be fair, right Ush?
Usher also said that dates and details of stops at 15 intimate venues are being worked out. Now that he’s married with a family, he hopes to use to this tour to prove that he still lives up to his sex-symbol status. “The ladies like to see that masculine build,” he said. “They question if I still got it.”
He plans to start a line of men’s and women’s undergarments and intimate apparel.
He’s currently working on the video for his single “Trading Places”.

I for one can’t wait until his concert comes through hopeful my town or somewhere near. He puts on a great show and I read he and his wife are expecting baby # 2. Congratulations to them!
