JUNGLE FEVER!
By now you’ve alread the posts on those other blogs - Bosssip & Mediatakeout about white women heading to Kenya to get their freak on with the local brothas! Well, there’s a great film, HEADING SOUTH, that was released last year about white women in the 70’s heading to Haiti to get their freak on with the brothas there! If you’re into foreign independent films, you should check it out. I give it 4 out of 5 stars!

Okay, it really feels like January/February which historically is the time the major studios push out their ‘urban’ films they feel can’t compete during ‘award season’, but this season black films seem to be released each week and are successful!
So actors, if you weren’t cast in ‘Why Did I Get Married’, ‘Talk To Me’, or ‘American Gangsta’…then you should have been cast in upcoming movies ‘This Christmas’, ‘The Perfect Holiday’, ‘Dirty Laundry’, ‘The Great Debaters’, ‘Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins’ or even, dare we say…’Three Can Play That Game!’ …or your ass should really quit the game right about now! (we excluded ‘I AM LEGEND’ for obvious reasons!!)
