The Wayans brothers — Keenen Ivory, Marlon and Shawn — are making their first foray into cable series with “The Life and Times of Marcus ‘Felony’ Brown,” a scripted comedy for VH1.

DAMON WAYANS IS HEADED BACK TO ABC!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the as-yet-untitled show will be a bit edgier than “Wife” and star the comic as a recent widower who has to take in the 19-year-old stepson he never knew.
The project is ABC’s second family comedy in development starring a black comedian after the sitcom deal with Cedric the Entertainer, who begins production on his show next week.
Wayans’ project attracted interest from several networks before landing at ABC with a script commitment. Like “Wife,” it will be written and executive produced by Wayans and Don Reo. Both had been looking to collaborate on a new project since “Wife” was cancelled in April 2005.

Thursday, October 11th, 2007I got a tip from a paparazzi friend that the likable “Keenan Ivory Wayans and family were at Mr. Chow”…I asked him if he was going to shoot it, and the answer was a clear “He’s not worth the time, and doesn’t sell…”
So us being blackarazzi decided that we would go shoot him, because we care and love our black celebrities. Well when I got there, only a few paps were there, and they couldn’t confirm if it was Damon, Keenan, Shawn, or Marlon, or Kim (hehe) because they didn’t know the difference. (We all look alike!)
Anyways, to my surprise it was Damon, a very subdued, angry Damon who didn’t want to show us nor anyone else love! (Not even the 14 year old kid!) Why is he so mad? Career not going as planned? We now wish it was Keenan there, he’s the nicer brother!!!!
