THE SMITH’S VS. BAKERSFIELD

Hollywood’s ”uber” couple - Mr. & Mrs. Smith, cheered on son Trey who plays wide receiver for the Westlake Village-Oaks Christian junior varsity team as they played Bakersfield Christian’s junior-varsity team. Trey (his mother is Will’s first-wife Sheree Zampino) is a sophomore at this “famous dad high” whose teammates include: Trevor Gretzky (son of hockey’s Wayne Gretzky) and Nick Montana (son of NFL great Joe Montana).

And to prove he is the hardest working man in show biz, Smith continued his world domination by hitting up the Madrid premeire of ‘LEGEND’ this weekend. Dapper!

The biggest celebrity in the world was immortalized today in Hollywood, during a Foot and Handprint Ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, where only a select invited few get to cement their hands and feet forever in front of the iconic theatre. You can’t pay for this, like the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Congrats Will you deserve it!

“HITCH” THE SITCOM

Will Smith is developing a sitcom based on “Hitch,” the hit 2005 romantic comedy in which he played a professional “date doctor.” Smith is attached to executive produce the small-screen version, but will not star. The project is expected to be pitched to the networks shortly.

Jaden Smith - The Next Karate Kid?

That’s right! Rumor has it - Will and Jada’s son, Jaden, is set to “wash-on, wash-off” in the remake of the 1984 movie, THE KARATE KID.

Sony is planning the remake of a young boy with the ability to do avian-inspired scissor kicks and an old man who catches flies with chopsticks.

The film will be made under the banner of Will Smith’s Overbook Entertainment. Jerry Weintraub, producer of the 1984 movie, is also said to producing this one as well.
